Agapeland is a small private preschool and kindergarten where the whole day runs in English: stories, songs, story time and free play. Children learn through play and exploration in a school with its own sports court, a large auditorium, a garden, and a few animals.

Agapeland is a boutique school with around 25 to 30 children, and at times more than 20 nationalities. Children hear different languages and accents every day, make friends from all over the world and learn to respect each other’s differences. Programs by age
Cocoons (2.5 to 3.5 years). A nurturing first step into learning and play, where the youngest children settle in and make their first friends.
Caterpillars (3.5 to 4.5 years). In the Explorers program, children build independence and fine motor skills. They learn to draw inside the lines, trace letters and numbers, and cut accurately. Learning goals include letter names and sounds, phonics, reading and writing their own name, counting to 100, and the days and months.
Kindergarten, the Butterflies (5 to 6 years). The final year is about mastering skills: reading and writing, penmanship, multi-syllable words, math and problem solving, along with social skills such as patience, sharing, friendship and accountability. Children leave confident, curious and ready for first grade.
Ready for primary school, Greek or international
Kindergarten graduates are prepared for first grade whether parents choose a Greek, English or international primary school. Agapeland runs separate preparation groups:
- Preparation in Greek, for Greek primary schools.
- Preparation in English, for English-speaking and international primary schools.
Greek holidays, cultural lessons and experiences, such as the 25th of March celebration, are part of the school year too.
School hours for busy families
The school year runs from September to July:
- Early drop-off from 8:00
- Half day: 9:00 to 13:00
- Half day with lunch: 9:00 to 13:30
- Full day: 9:00 to 15:45
Lunch is prepared at the school, and the full-day option suits parents who work long hours.
Summer camp
Agapeland’s summer camp is open to children aged 2 to 10, with daily swimming. It is a good way to try the school before the new year, and it keeps children active through the summer. The After-School English Program is open to students from age 4 to adult.
